Base4NFDI is delighted to announce that Accounting4NFDI has been accepted for the Integration Phase following the Consortia Assembly's decision! Congratulations to the basic service team!
Accounting4NFDI aims to develop a federated, standards-based accounting framework that enables transparent, FAIR-compliant tracking of resource usage across NFDI. Accounting4NFDI does not require existing accounting, monitoring, or reporting solutions to be replaced. Instead, it follows a federated approach that integrates existing systems through a common accounting model and standardised interfaces.
During the Integration Phase, the focus will be set on integrating systems with varying integration efforts via incubators. These incubators will become the setting for community-driven development of specific service integrations and extensions of existing solutions.
We are looking forward to what's ahead of us and encourage the NFDI community to join this endeavour by actively participating in the NFDI sections!
