Base4NFDI User Conference 2026 in Berlin
This year marks the third edition of the Base4NFDI User Conference (UC4B2026). We will meet on November 24–25 at Staatsbibliothek zu Berlin, Haus Potsdamer Straße. We hereby cordially invite you to contribute to the conference. Registration for participation will open in August/September 2026; you will be notified in due time.
The
2026 program welcomes contributions from across the NFDI and beyond.
Members of sections, working groups, consortia, Basic Service teams, and
related initiatives are invited to participate and share their ideas
and experiences as well as best practices.
By
contributing, participants can increase the visibility of their work,
exchange insights with stakeholders from across the NFDI, and help
identify opportunities for broader adoption and integration of services.

NFDI4Earth Plenary 2026 NFDI4Earth Plenary 2026 DMP4NFDI Roadshow
They will introduce their four service areas and show how they can translate into concrete collaboration with DMP4NFDI. Using examples from current and completed incubator projects, they will give you a glimpse of how this collaboration works in practice and help you identify where to start, what to focus on, necessary resources, and what could be the next step for your consortium.

DMP4NFDI Workshop: RDMO for Editors
Participants will gain practical experience in working with RDMO and the NFDI DMP Template. Based on our developed Train-the-Trainer concept for DMPs and RDMO, this interactive workshop guides participants in how to navigate the RDMO management interface, create new DMP templates (catalogs) or adapt existing ones and use the NFDI DMP Template to build interoperable and standardised DMP templates.

The Culture Community Plenary (CCP) is a two-day event that takes place once a year. On this occasion, all members of the consortium and its governance as well as guests from national and international research and infrastructure will come together to discuss the current status of the consortium.

The session will showcase the highlights and created outputs of the service, and invites an open exchange with the community to discuss questions and future directions for PID solutions in NFDI.

NFDI4DS Lecture Series: Introduction to Jupyter4NFDI
This talk offers an overview of how to access and use Jupyter4NFDI. Jupyter4NFDI is one of the Base4NFDI basic services. It enables reproducible research, scalable access to computational resources, and flexible research environments. During the session we will cover an introduction to the platform’s capabilities and show how it can be integrated into research workflows.

3rd Base4NFDI User Conference in Berlin
UC4B2026 brings together Base4NFDI, its funded basic services and the National Research Data Infrastructure (NFDI) community for two days of exchange, collaboration and hands-on discussions on shared research data management (RDM) services. This year's event focuses on hands-on sessions with incubator presentations and opportunities to showcase service integration within your community and strategic discussions on topics such as operating models for basic services.
