About IAM4NFDI

IAM4NFDI is concerned with connecting and expanding existing and emerging Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems in a way that researchers from different domains and institutions are able to access digital resources within NFDI as easily as possible, including access to and exchange with external infrastructures and resources like the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC). Within IAM4NFDI, so-called Virtual Organisations (VOs) provide a framework for managing community- or project-specific memberships, groups and roles, enabling researchers across institutions and domains to access digital resources based on their associations and responsibilities.

What to expect

Join the IAM4NFDI team to explore the benefits of Virtual Organisations (VOs), including in the context of EOSC services and learn how easily distributed resources can be managed.

In the session you will experience a live role-play demo showing how to easily create a VO, become a member, and manage access by identifying who should be part of the VO. The session will also showcase a practical use case from the NFDI community and invite participants to an interactive Q&A.
